Sudoku 6: Trampoline Sudoku

With just 3 days left for Indian Sudoku Championship, preparations must already be in full swing. This time ISC features a new variant called Trampoline Sudoku.

There aren't any Trampoline Sudoku for practice. So, I've created one for ISC practice.
Rules: Place a digit from 1-9 in each empty cell so that each digit appears exactly once in each row, column and 3x3 outlined box. Additionally, numbers on a trampoline (all the cells the shape is part of - light shaded colored cells) will jump vertically to
the height of the corresponding number and then at this new height, each number must reach (be orthogonally or diagonally adjacent to) two copies
of itself, one to the left and one to the right.

  1. 7:10.Very cool ! Initially, after putting in a few digits, I got the notion that the solve would be very classic oriented but, it very nicely exploited the variant idea in the middle and towards the end of the solve. Also, of the few types of this genre that I have solved , this is the first time I am seeing trampoline level extending into 2 rows.Nice idea and good practice sudoku !

    1. I agree that the intial placement of 5 & 6 are a bit classic like. Anyway, good to know that you got something new to see and liked the sudoku.
