Sudoku 20: Fortress Sudoku

Today I'm posting a Fortress Sudoku with the compulsory theme of the month. Hope you all like it.
Rules: Classic Sudoku rules apply. Additionally, a digit in a shaded cell must be greater than digits in all orthogonally adjacent white cells.

    Took 20+ mins... I missed an easy deduction in the middle of the solve. Nevertheless, it was an interesting grid and I enjoyed solving it.
