Sudoku 27: Killer Sudoku

It has been one year of blogging. In this one year I posted 26 sudokus and was able to deliver what I had promised--a sudoku on the 1st and 15th of every month. I would like to thank all those who helped me in achieving this. Thanks to Pranav Kamesh, Akash Doulani, Gaurav Kumar Jain, Rakesh Rai, Aditi Seshadri and Falak Pahwa for testing the sudokus. Thanks to Swaroop Guggilam and Rajesh Kumar for helping me with eps files and improving the blog. Lastly, thanks to everyone for solving the sudokus, for giving your valuable feedbacks and helping me to improve the blog round the year.
Today I'm posting the sudoku, the creation of which gave me confidence that I can create good sudokus. It was created long back and many in LMI have also solved it. But I would like it to be there on the blog and any one who hasn't solved it earlier to solve; those who have solved earlier may solve once again ;)
Rules: Classic Sudoku rules apply. Additionally, the sum of digits in cells inside every cage must equal the total given for the cage at the upper left cell. Digits do not repeat inside a cage.

  1. I just loved solving this. I was initially stuck and had no idea how to proceed. I thought i should just give up and ask you for a hint. Then I suddenly got the clue. And then things just fit into place. Very nice
